New tendencies, methodologies and technologies appear, continually, and they are applied according to the people and companies needs. Coaching, Mentoring and Counseling are, in fact, connected methodologies, once the whole repeats in the part and together, they supply favorable conditions for new discoveries.
Coaching has focus in the operational and professional results in work atmosphere, limited to business and companies environment. Mentoring has focus in people's development and includes aspects of the life, using professional subjects (Coaching) as a specific part of the Mentoring. To deal with technical aspects of operational results is 20 % of the process (Coaching); the remaining 80 % is to have ability in working with people, their motivations, expectations, behaviors etc (Mentoring).
In this sense, we developed the Executive Counseling Career Program, with scope in Coaching and Mentoring, in order to assist people and companies that are facing moments of uncertainty, choice, change, restructuring, growth, adaptation or revision of their strategies, careers or businesses.
This program was prepared for: - Legal Entity that goes by restructuring processes, mergers, acquisition or organizational changes and recognizes the need of identifying new motivation of their executives, improving the organizational environment, retaining talents, avoiding unnecessary dismissals and reducing labor claims. - Individual Executives that has doubts and uncertainties about the direction of its own career and looks for new options to improve self satisfaction, motivation and self-knowledge.
We approach different aspects, such as: decision making, criteria of personal choice, feedback, interests, self-knowledge, influences regarding professional choice, personal and professional project, information about the market in general etc.
Sometimes, the choice of the profession is decided by pulse, or by a casual offered opportunity or by family influence. In these cases, talents and abilities are usually forgotten because of job functions and wages.
Other times, the organizational changes; as a result of restructurings, mergers, acquisitions, economical instabilities; or even changes in personal life, may affect the motivation and behavior of good professionals, producing dissatisfactions that interfere the company’s results.
There are situations that the professional is promoted for a leadership position and is not secure or prepared to deal with People Management.
There are still promotions or ascensions that happen in a favorable scenery (promotions for merit etc) or unfavorable (coalition, buys, dismissal, death, transfer etc) and they interfere in the acceptance of the group or in the work atmosphere.
